The new Avast Interface has also been updated. The focus now is to make more information accessible already in the first window, thus avoiding unnecessary transitions. So at the top of the program window are four main topics: Scan, Tools, Passwords, and Store.
By clicking on them, you can check all the most usual functions of the antivirus without having to access the settings screen, which is much more dense and complex. In the topic of Scans, for example, you have access to all the available alternatives shown in an expanded menu. If you want to buy Avast add-ons the "Store" section is there too.
If you are a heavy user, however, you will probably prefer to deal with the more precise and complex options. To do this, click on the gear icon. With this, the traditional settings screen, which remains practically the same as previous versions, will be loaded. There you can schedule periodic scans and define how much processing the antivirus should use to scan the PC and avoid crashes, among others.

Network Security, for example, can now identify 12 new types of vulnerabilities in home routers.
